Hi all. Pardon me if there's a related topic somewhere but when I search, the only topic I found so far is about Skype not recognizing the user's iSight :(

I recently started doing Skype call recording, for the podcasts my friends & I are trying to do. So far so good, but we're getting really weird feedback sounds every now and then. I have Mac OSX 10.5.6 on a MacBook.

Here's a sample. (You can click on the player above the "download" button) The sound lasts for maybe 10-15 seconds, but it's really loud & irritating and sometimes I can't hear the others talking.

There's no specific time interval when it occurs. It just does. This is the setup that I have during the call while recording, using a generic headset mic from CDR-King. My friends are both using Windows XP, one is in Paranaque, the other is in Singapore. They're also using headsets, brand unknown.

The feedback also occurred in almost every call that I did, with or without the recording on, also even with no headset, either conference of just talking to one person. All the people I'm talking to are on Windows (both XP & Vista). I also tried to reset the settings of Skype back to default before trying a plain call, and my dad complained of the feedback.

Any feedback (no pun intended hehe) is appreciated. Thanks!
