the one useful thing i was able to do with this one is to have siri turn on my tv, which is connected to my apple tv. here's one of the guides available online on how to do it: https://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-turn-on-apple-tv-using-siri-shortcuts-and-voice-command/
Hi sir, yes was able to do it, this is the exact link that i followed, i figured it was the same with the first one, sorry about that https://www.iphoneincanada.ca/how-to/how-to-turn-on-apple-tv-siri-shortcuts-app/
Is it possible to create a shortcut to open waze and navigate to a certain location (ex: home, office, school, etc)???
Mm...yes it is possible...created this Shortcut: Just add: street address, fill it up, then add open in maps and choose Waze. Record the siri phrase. Siri will open waze and the specified address. Then choose to start driving navigation via Waze.
Awesome! Was also able to add turn off wifi and turn on cellular. How about location/gps- is there any way to turn it on/off thru shortcut?
Nice! I've been trying to find a way to use Waze in Shortcuts. I thought that Shortcuts will only allow Apple Maps. Thanks for this!
This article provides links to the following two Siri shortcuts that just might be useful to you in case you get pulled-over by the police: a shortcut “that lowers the phone’s brightness, turns on Do Not Disturb, texts the iPhone owner’s location to an emergency contact and lets them know you have been pulled over by police” and that “will also automatically start recording video and, when finished, the phone will send the video to the contact or save it to a cloud service”; and a shortcut “that automatically reboots the phone, rendering the fingerprint or face ID feature useless until a person enters a passcode”.
Reason for edit: Embedded a link to MacStories. An expandable library of Shortcuts: Sharecuts (https://sharecuts.app) Another terrific source of shortcuts would be MacStories. This is optional, but it's also worth noting that subscribing to Club MacStories will open you a trove of advanced shortcuts, you get what you pay for if you're a power user.
