Today, 11/11 is Singles Day (prelude sale before the US Black Friday sale), and just saw Alibaba CEO mention that 2018 has the most third-party brands joining the sale. Lazada is the biggest online store that has Singles Day deals. List your best finds here.

No. This is the day when our best halves charge a ton on our credit card, for the 364 days that we behaved like it's Singles Day. :)

And we call it Black Friday because we who slave our asses a whole year are practically blindsided by all the credit we have to pay for the next entire year...

When they talk about inequality in income they weren't talking about couples, ain't they??

Mm...11/11 is absolutely huge! Bigger than Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined and a stark reminder to that idiot Trump that China’s economy is extremely important to the world economy.

I just heard Alibaba on CNBC that one of the top 3 selling brand is Apple. That should make Tim Cook very happy going into the busy Christmas shopping season.

The logistics alone boggles the imagination. Last year, Alibaba shipped over 850,000,000 packages during 11/11 sale. This year, they expect to ship over 1,000,000,000 packages.

Just keep in mind, some of the vendors in Lazada actually increases their prices and put up fake slashed prices. I was looking at an item priced at around 1200, and upon seeing it today, it cost 1400 with a slashed price from 2000.

I just dropped 3 orders after finding out they were 100 pesoses more than their precious price before 11/11 so WTF was that Lazada?

Although I was able to snag one of those Pocophones up there from the Mi Official Store so no bust at all...

I found a way to get the ultimate discounts on Singles Day, I saved not 20% or 50%, but a whopping 100%!

    I didn't buy anything.

This happens on every sale they have. Some vendors in Lazada, jack up their prices and put fake slashed prices.

Never bought anything on 11/11—or any online sale events (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, etc.) for that matter. But after being invited by Alibaba to their campus and spending a week there, discovering some mind-blowing impact (beyond pera-pera lang) innovations, I may give this bandwagon a try. Any good finds? :)

Woke up to this because there’s a reminder on my calendar, which is weird because it was November 11, 2018 when I put an alarm to it.

Alibaba is top on the list and will have to go swinging with Manny Pacquiao to even get anything of value to me. You know like something you need, keep and use. Not just to add up on the Pocophones from last year still in the bag.
