technically... Singaporeans/PRs can leave Singapore (even during the lockdown). but they'll need a 21 day quarantine when they return.
Employment Pass holders need Ministry of Manpower approval before they can leave and return to the country (still with quarantine upon return)
This time, they will allow travel without quarantine.
When we were in Singapore, we normally left the country twice a year (not counting business trips, trips to Manila, Malaysia and Indonesia). Some of my local colleagues travel almost every 2 months!
So can you imagine how it feels to stay in Singapore for more than a year!
