i dont see whats wrong with pinay waitresses and hooters.. its a decent restaurant serving decent food.

and hooters manila is along the bay besides mall of asia.. yes, mostly pinay servers wearing their regulated uniforms.

Re: Singapore! - PhilMuggers tips and recommendations

    Hi everyone!

I'm planning my very first trip to SG this coming April and was wondering if I could do a sidetrip to KL? Anyone who has actual experience with this? Any tips to make it more cheaper?

Also, the entire trip will last for 6 days so I was wondering if I could squeeze the KL visit in the middle. (di na siguro ako matutulog kung pwde hehe).

Thanks sa lahat ng magaadvice! :)

You can always take the bus to KL, this is cheaper, but it will take you 6 hrs to get there. What we did was do the night SAFARI till 11:00pm and got on the bus to KL by 12mn, arrived around 6 am and took photos of the sunrise at KLCC (twin towers) did a bit of site seeing and then went back to SG. Be careful though as the bus stop is Quiapo like, oh and BTW exchange enough Malaysian Ringgit cause they don't accept SG dollars there and the banks or establishments open at 9am.

Re: Singapore! - PhilMuggers tips and recommendations

I'll be going alone to SG pretty soon and I'm thinking of staying at The Scarlet Boutique Hotel. It says it's located in China Town. I want to know if that area is safe.

Also, where can I buy a lens for my camera? Sim Lim Square? Or is that just for computers?

Re: Singapore! - PhilMuggers tips and recommendations

It's safe everywhere in SG! :)

You can buy lenses for your camera at Sim Lim but only go to Alan Photo

I also recommend SLR Revolution and John 3:16 in Funan IT Mall
Look also for Cathay Photo in Peninsula Plaza
