Had the same experience last night. For the drop down options, you have to choose the option not type it. After that page, you’ll be asked to attach a gov’t ID ( which takes forever to load ) and take a selfie photo. What comes next? No idea. I got an error message.:mad:

I think there is no rush to register now for prepaid and all postpaids are already considered registered and just might require update later on in case,
rushing to register now might end up re-register if telcos forgot your data, looks like their old system can't handle and keep safe our prepaid data yet as of now,
no need and don't force it,
GOMO looks like they are so afraid we flooded their system, even they have small and very much less users

It is easier to register by mobile browser than a desktop browser.

    PS

This method is for Globe prepaid sim.

Tried registering prepaid smart just now. After going through the hoops, at the last page: "Oops! Sorry, your registration cannot be processed at this time. Please try again later"!

Had trouble with the 2 MB photo limit with Globe but got there in the end... Not sure why it's needed still since Gcash already has registration and am with Globe?

instead of simcard registration, this more like approving the SCAMMER GLOBE to sell your sim information, what is this NTC DOST doing? crazy stupid agencies and allowing this SCAMMER GLOBE doing this.

si GLOBE yata ang pinaka scammer sa lahat

Mm..was finally able to register my prepaid smart (Fold 4) at 4 am in the morning. Success after a dozen attempts (tedious process that required the patience of Job).

3 numbers registered. Only 1 Dito prepaid left for my 4G LTE backup router.

I haven't registered my prepaid SIMs, and looking at people's experiences, I think I'd wait at least until next month... and maybe do it very early in the morning to avoid the surge :D

Most likely for ad tracking, used to analyze the effectiveness of their ads (e.g. comparing visitors from their ads vs. other sources, "organic" visitors, and bots). I am assuming Globe is running an ad campaign on TikTok to get people to register.

Smart Bro Post Paid using an iPad doesn't have any instructions for registration. I tried putting the sim on my iPhone and texting "Yes" to 5858, doesn't do anything. Tried the portal, and says sim is not prepaid.

I received a message from globe that they will get in touch with me at a later time to confirm/complete the postpaid registration details to align it with the requirements of new law. The deadline is April 2023 so I'll wait for globe to contact me before I do anything.
