Has anyone tried online shopping and having it shipped to Manila directly without 3rd party shipping company? how much did you pay for duties and taxes?
If the order is less than 10k no taxes. No experience yet with more than 10k, but from what I've read there's no set tax rate...
Hi! Has anyone experienced this: Notice that from Clearance delay at Pasay City, it went back to Indiana. This item came from New York. Do they just return the item to seller without communication with the receiver? Or is this only a typo error. I hope it’s the latter.
I experienced that but mine was from US to korea to manila then went back to korea hehe but give it several hours likely just a glitch in the tagging
Clarification was made by a FedEx agent. The document supporting the item was the first one to arrive to facilitate clearance process at the customs. Both the item and the document was reflected at the tracking system. That’s why. Have I received the unit? Not yet. Hopefully today.
So another package I am hoping to receive today is the one coming from AMAZON. This package followed a very smooth process until it came to Philippines for delivery. Has anyone experienced accepting package through UPS? Do they contract local couriers for delivery? Why would they try to deliver a package at 7:50 PM? Or was it even initiated? No one contacted me for a delivery but I tried to wait until 6 PM. There are also no records of someone showing up for a delivery last night as per security team.
From your experience, how accurate is shippingcart's cost estimator tool? Planning to purchase 2 items with amazon. What would be cheaper between direct shipping via AmazonGlobal or using Shippingcart?
Most often than not Shippingcart is cheaper and you won’t be taxed even if the item is above Php10k. But for smaller items that are valued less than Php10k, I stick to Amazon. The shipping cost is like less than Php1k anyway and I get the item much much faster.
Just a quick question. I've bought some items at the official cole haan website during the black friday period (when all styles were 50% off). This is the first time i've used my local credit card so i used their international check out option but asked them to deliver my items to my shipping cart address. How long does the international checkout website update you since it's been a week and the last update given by the site was this: "Your order will be shipped directly from the store to your USA shipping address. STANDARD shipping - allow approximately 8 -20 business days for delivery. PRIORITY shipping - allow 4-10 business days." Thanks a lot!!
Also bought items in Amazon during Cyber Monday, and tracking said items were out for delivery yesterday but attempt failed. Weird coz there were people in my house ready to receive the items had UPS actually tried the delivery.
I experienced that before, what they mean by business closed is the company making the delivery itself, its like way past their time of delivery... i know its weird but the explanation came from amazon reps, asked that twice got the same response, not to worry though, they ship it the next day immediately...
Does LBC really include iPad in items with special handling? Their support page only mentions mobile phones and radios. No mention of tablets. They’re charging me 11.99/lb for a sealed iPad. Thanks.
