I'd like to start this thread on which shareware apps you've found so good that you actually registered them. I'd like to keep the choices not going over US$50 please.

    I'll start

    1. Salling Clicker - Oh man, this is just a gadget geek's wet dream come true.
    2. MPFreaker - Jewelcase is just "ok", but equipped with Album covers is amazing!
    3. Quicksilver - ONCE it goes shareware, you'll be darned sure I'll be first in line paying.

I bought Chronosync, Clicker, and Sidetrack.

However, Sidetrack definitely takes it. This is an app I use all the time, and practically cant live without it :)

    Hmmm...

    1. Salling Clicker
    2. PhotoRescue Expert
    3. VueScan

Among other things. But these would be the top 3 for me.

I, too, paid for SideTrack. When it crossed from beta to shareware, I gave myself a week to think aout paying for it. I ended up missing it so badly within the first hour that I registered it right away.

I've recently made a list of apps I would definitely buy in the coming months when I have some extra cash:

    1. Speed Download
    2. Comic Life
    3. CopyWrite

    Shareware I\'ve paid for

I think GraphicConverer at 30 USD is the best buy around. It handles most graphic tasks. really a poor man's PhotoShop

Apps that I have and have been mentioned: Sidetrack, Salling Clicker, Comic Life. I heartily recommend all three.

These apps haven't been mentioned yet but have been worth my money:

Shareware hunting then the try-buy period is a bit addicting... Nothing beats instant gratification: getting the license through email right after paying for it then unlocking the software shortly after... It could be compared to the one-click buying of tracks in iTunes... Hey... Where did my money go?!

    I buy games instead :D

    1. Kill Monty - The best stress reliever game EVER. Monty also looks like my cow-workers muhaha

    2. Limewire pro - Some people just download the pro altogether. I bought it coz the updates are free and, well, i use it a lot.

    3. The MiniStat widget. It's really worth the money. All the info of mi ibook in one widget. Plus, the skins are kewl.
