There's a seminar venue thread in the archives, but it's ten years old so I'm opening a new one. If you know of good (or awful) venues for teambuilding exercises--or just for a fun weekend getaway for big groups--please post them here. I'll post three:

    1. Cintai (Corito's Garden) near Lipa, Batangas. Easy drive from Manila via STAR, great scenery (Balinese-themed), great food, close to Taal's historic homes. I've been here twice with family and friends. They also offer day tours with lunch.

    2. Punta de Fabian in Baras, Rizal. High on a hilltop, great view of Laguna de Bay, food so-so, lovely infinity pool (plus one more pool). My staff and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and everyone had a good time. Came out to about 3K pax overnight with three meals.

    3. Eugenio Lopez Center, Antipolo, Rizal. On the left side of that winding mountain highway going up to Antipolo. Spectacular view of the metropolis. Food so-so, but it's hard to think of a better place for a cold beer at sunset. Rooms okay.

Of the meetings I've attended the past couple of years, the location most appreciated was Baguio. Everyone was surprised how much nearer it is now (measured in travel time). Just within John Hay I've been to three different locations.
