help! since this morning, i haven't been able to do anything with Photoshop CS...not even edit pictures...coz THIS always happens  i actually have more space in my hard drive now, and i've emptied my trash and did repair disk permissions already...but it's still the same. and i have a plate due tom!!
just tried it now...the Edit>Purge isn't available for selection. at first i thought maybe it's because the file i had open was too big, so i tried opening just a small jpeg (112 kb)...i can't even crop it! "scratch disks full" parin. :wound: arrrggghhh! [Edited on 7-30-2004 by poink]
Try restarting your iBook first. If the problem's still there, you can try deleting the ff. Photoshop CS preferences files: - com.adobe.Photoshop.plist in Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences; and - Adobe Photoshop CS Prefs.psp in Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS Settings Good luck! ~Henjie
ei thanks guys!!! i finally figured out what was wrong...er, hehe, um...it was my fault all along  my crop tool was set to 1500in instead of 1500px  i couldn't stop laughing when i finally saw it... soweeee for all the hullabaloo over nothing  i'm so embarrassed
You can also change the location of the scratch disk at: Photoshop>Preferences>.... & Scratch disks.
just check the numbers in the fields. If it's in inches it will have "in" after the number and if it's in pixels, it will say "px"
Dunno if this will help but you may adjust your Photoshop Image and Ram Preference higher a bit. Go to Preference under your Photoshop Menu.
