hi folks, i've googled, sought for clues but i remain trapped. i browsed a page that has a divx video and am in dire need to have it saved in my machine. btw, i'm using firefox temporarily. i'm not quite sure if the divx file still resides on the memory/cache. pardon my technical deficiencies. thanks for the help in advance.
Do you mean that the DivX video is playing in the web page itself? What choices are available when you right-click on the video?
Hmmm... Try using safari (if it's possible) and play it again. You may be able to download it from the activity window.
yea, i should've mentioned 'playing divx video'. surprisingly, when i right-clicked on the video, there's a 'save as' option. unexpectedly, it doesn't download nor save anything. i will try using safari as suggested. thanks mastahs
install the firefox addon VideoDownloadHelper for youtube, install firefox addon youtubemp and you'll have a direct link to download youtube videos as mp4 edit: the mozilla website seems to be undergoing maintenance. try later.
