i cant seem to save an animated gif i made.

i tried saving it but the animation does not show.

    i tried:

    save
    save as
    save optimized
    save optimized as

but still not able to save the animation. tried goign to help menu (like i always do) but still no help.

i used to save gif's using a pc in adobe save image as animated gif, but i dont see that option in the settings too.

    thanks :D

Try using adobe image ready. There should be a link to image ready in the photoshop tool bar. The link is on the most bottom part of the tool bar. Click it and your file will be opened in image ready. there you can save your animated gif.

ok you can import the files a layers. so one jpeg image per layers.
then click the image ready icon in the toolbar. It should lead you to Adobe Image Ready
So you should still see the layered images in your image ready.

Now on image ready, open your animation window.
oncee you have set your animation. Go to file and save optimized as... image only.

    Where does the error occur?

Make sure you set it as a gif and not as jpg

save optimize as (see screen shots)

You can just click on the play button in image ready, or open the gif in safari or any other web browser
