Can you place a link of that scratch test?
you sir are a life saver. the free app works, easy to use unlike the other software i tried. Droid NAS is a great app. found the solution to my problem. thanks again.
Thanks for this tip too! I thought I could use this with a USB cable but nevertheless it's pretty easy for me to use rather than having to go through Kies Air.
UPDATE: found out that I can only transfer access the 16GB memory of the S3 but not its external MicroSD. any way to access this through this app?
@david- did you check the sd card?
^is your phone rooted bro? i'm using an app for that (recognizes your external card as a removable drive) but you need to be rooted for that to work. you could also try "android file transfer" but it was a hit and miss on my part when i used that with my macbook
yeah i did, but it only detects the 16GB of the S3's storage and not my external MicroSD card.
nope, my phone is not rooted.
^try the android file transfer
The reason for that is that in ICS, the internal memory is being referrence now to /mnt/sdcard and the external memory is now mounted to /mnt/extSdCard. Most of the programs are still pointing to /mnt/sdcard/ thats why youre only seeing the internal memory.
try sendtosd app. hope it helps
I can't get mine to work ...
After updating OTA a few days back, my phone has been waking up intermittently from sleep (screen off to lock screen). It happens when its just lying on the table, when im talking to someone through the headset, or when im listening to music. Any of you experiencing this?
oohhh. before the update, android file transfer was working with my mba. now it's not recognizing the phone
Try to review all your programs running in the background.
I remember seeing a comment some pages bavk, regarding the battery charging only to 99%. I'm experiencing the same thing.
Got this unit only last tues, and have tried draining the battery, still comes out the same.
It was already corrected in the latest firmware. Its now showing 100% on full charge.
I think it's the google chrome.
Also experienced the same thing. Try leaving it plugged in for about 5 minutes after it says full charged. You should see 100 percent after you remove it
Can't seem to get the text message notification tone to work, it's just on silent. Call ringtone is working. How can I make this work again?
What firmware are you using now?
