My phone was working perfectly till I upgraded to 4.3, I get the "Not registered on network" problem whenever I try to make a call, and even text.. Using wifi seems to be okay, but I lost the ability to use mobile data as well.. Help? :(

^ Already tried those, the problem still persists. Another sad thing is that Kies (for mac) doesn't seem to recognize my phone anymore. Jeeeeez Samsung. :|

Have you tried flashing it with the previous fw using odin?

Not yet, this is by rooting (odin) right? Care to share how? I'm thinking of visiting a samsung centre later to see what they can do about it. :/

EDIT: Seems that my IMEI number changed. Could this be the source of the problem? Like, is it blocking my network (globe)?

I have no experience with BES, so I can't really say. But from what I can see (I have it on my Note 3), it's just an added layer of security, not really an independent service altogether. People want to avoid it because you if you try and root a firmware with Knox included, it'll trigger the app and instead of "Knox 0x0" it'll read "Knox 0x1," thus voiding your warranty. As of the moment, there is no way to reset the Knox counter. If you're not into rooting, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yep you need to flash using odin, rooting is kinda like jailbreaking it, you can flash stock fw without rooting if you prefer not to. You need a windows system though. Here's the guide i used when i restored mine it includes hotlinks to stuff you need to download.

Thanks for this link! But apparently I got my phone working again. I don't know what the people in samsung did, but they got it working.. Seems that my IMEI number is correct again. Phew. :)
