Kind of not clear what you mean not china, as most electronic in nature nowadays are made in china, but anyway you can buy from lazada, for there are a whole lot of chargers out there being sold by their respective official stores that guarantees you that what you will get is authentic, and look for with Power Delivery feature, suffice to juice up including laptop.

I bought once from them, the brand is Aukey, it has 46W. you can jump in to this link, but mind you, your USB-C cable must also support a PD feature or designed to hold on to high wattage, as PD is a feature of type-C USB specification, but prerogative of the manufacturer to include it in charger, cable, device, or port.

    Nice! Thanks for the info.
Sorry I was not clear. Im used to calling products that are not popular and with chinese sounding brand names as "china" products. I think most of Filipinos have same interpretation like mine. Hehe.

So I decided to tune in on Samsungs new Note 10 launch.

I won't lie I was super salty when I saw Samsung base storage is 256GB with the note 10 at $950.

Kinda feels bad considering I paid $999 for my XS with 64GB.

I am hoping Apple bumps their base storages across all their products.

Most unlikely to happen. The storage is where Apple makes most of its profit.

Apple's way of encouraging its user base to use its cloud storage services. Samsung offerings are definitely compelling.

Mm....Samsung used to make fun of Apple's iPhone for removing the 3.5 mm / mini-stereo jack.....WELL, Samsung needs to apologize. :ROFLMAO:

Preordered already via Samsung and SMART since SMARTs ALL net call includes PLDT while Globe is only limited to mobile only.

    ^ Based on the article,

    Note 10+ : looks artificial
    P30 Pro: looks HDR
XS Max: looks more natural to me and details in the clouds are preserved (despite the underexposed subject)

what is the SRP of the Note 10+?

i am tempted to buy one but i did try to switch from iPhone to Note twice already in the past and both times i eventually end up going back to the iPhone and costing me more money :ROFLMAO: i think i will have to wait til September and see what Apple will put on the table before deciding whether to jump again. :p

    It's 61k for the 256GB variant.

I've done the same, for the Note 7 (rest in flames) and Note 9. I'll probably skip this one. Oh, if only I had the need for an extra phone, or the money to back that up. :D

for me... its all personal preference (how you want to see your photo)
2nd, which camera can take the photo I personally prefer (while on auto-mode - from pocket, wake button twice then take the photo - no change in settings required)

I agree. High contrast scenes like the example in the article will inevitably involve some trade-off: in this particular scene, what is the typical smartphone camera user taking a picture of, a person in the shade, or the clouds in the sky? Looks like Samsung and Huawei are betting it's the girl, and it shows in their processing. Their algorithm also appears to assume that typical cameraphone users use Auto mode almost always, and rarely do post-processing on their pics.

My personal preference is the Note 10+ pic, by the way.

I think Samsung is somewhere in the middle when it comes to camera settings.

You can turn off the "beauty setting" to reduce the smoothing of the person's face (but photo is not detailed as the Pixel)
And you can turn it all the way up to match the settings of Chinese OEMs.

Personally, I'm excited on how the Note 10's video camera + new DeX will work.

I agree. It’s like how it is with UHD TV settings.

Note 10+ is on Vivid mode
P30 Pro is SDR upscaled to give an HDR effect
XS Max is on cinema mode

Experts say don’t watch on Vivid mode. Only use cinema mode because movies are supposed to be viewed specifically that way. However I still prefer to watch movies on my TV upscaled with HDR effect or on Vivid mode rather than cinema mode. My eyes are too weak to see the images on cinema mode. I find them too dark for my taste.
