recently, the latest update for osx updated safari to version 3
after which i noticed that when i access certain sites which stream videos, my mbp would get hot
when i look at the istat menu display on the menu bar, the temp is up 68 to 70 degrees and checking processor usage, 1 core is used by safari 100% and the other core, by some 5% making a total of 105% usage for safari only
the site i access when this happens is veo which streams videos of tv series
i wonder if its the veo player or safari which is hogging and straining the cpu
