I used another wireless network over the weekend in another resort that was testing their wifi out, they used my mac and browsed the web using safari, my problem is I cant connect to any site now using safari, but I tried to go to sites using firefox no problem at all. Is it possible the tech changed some settings that hinders me from using safari? any input would greatly be appreciated,l thanks

well that shouldn't be the case i believe. i don't know any settings in the preferences that only enables you surf on a specific network.

Leave it blank, so the browser will auto-negotiate the connection. It's in your Network pref.pane

uncheck it if it's checked or restore it to its original settings.

hey, me too. Also, isn't it a bummer you can't connect to YM using proteus, and to check mail(thru the Mac's built-in mail application)in agsb? Some firewall I guess.
