Are you on DSL or dial-up?

I usually get this when my connection speed is slow that the browser gives up (timeout in tech terms) to load the picture.

It's an internet connection issue, not a browser issue.

Yah it could be internet connection issue, or some plugins...
try to reset safari and empty cache.
it may solve the issue you have.

If a browser isn't displaying or just won't load an image properly, pls. check the for ff accordingly:

    1. Check for Comparison
    a. Check browser type & version to check for currently known issues
    b. Try another browser instead (if there's an alternative browser installed)
or check if another Mac/PC can browse or display the same website properly or not
(to find out that maybe there's a problem w/the website itself only)
    d. Check for connectivity by running a speed test also
    e. Check for 3rd party software incompatibility (i.e. Firewall, Anti-Virus, etc.)

    2. Optimize Browser
    a. Refresh the browser page to let the page or image reload
    b. Clear Cache & Cookies
    c. Try to close or open the Browser window or just simply ReStart the Mac/PC for now as well
    d. Either check/troubleshoot for Advanced Browser & Network settings (configure/install/update plug-in software/allow pop-ups/etc.)
or just Reset Safari Browser setting altogether (to quickly put it back to default settings instead)
