    um, help guys

the past couple of days i haven't been able to get into gmail. i get the log-in screen and when i do it gets stuck on a blank screen, the only thing that's seen is a small red 'loading' sign on the upper left hand corner.

i'm wondering what the problem is - if it's safari, gmail, my isp (pre-paid bonanza)... was working fine the first few days naman...

    thanks in advance! :)

    Hi April!

Was able to access my gmail account just now w/ Safari w/o any difficulties. Got to successfully send & download mail.

    hi apester,

I get the same red loading problem every once in a awhile.
Which ISP are you usinng and what's your setup like?

Since only a few of us have this problem it must be an ISP or LAN config problem and not a Safari bug.

I have a PLDTDSL Pro connection and a US Robotics wired router going to an APExpress and a Snow basestation.

Whenever this happens I just keep on reloading until the Inbox comes out.
    :)

yeah, could be just a slow connection speed or something on my part.

i've just got an ordinary dial-up... isp bonanza. i'll try other providers, those might work better.

    thanks guys :)

I thought it was just me. Apparently, I'm one of the unlucky few who encounter this problem. I have a PLDT MyDSL connection with a Nokia modem and Linksys WRT54G router. Just now, I was sending a reply and it seemed to take forever (more than two minutes, actually), so I just hit the reload button. It's kinda irritating, though, having to do that. I don't know what the problem is so I don't know how to solve it, and it's going to be a recurring problem until a permanent fix is found.

Does anyone have any ideas? Hitting the reload button is not the solution.

    Hi guys,

for temporary fixes try View > Stop/Reload. that should do the trick, just uncheck/ check and then reload the page. ;)

Happend to me when I use Mozilla Firefox in both Mac and Windows. I usually just clear the cache and it would work afterwards.
