I just downloaded the Safari 4 Public Beta. It has nice new features like TopSites and CoverFlow browsing of history
I'm using it now, after upgrading from the Developer preview! This is a worthy Upgrade, and it's really stable! Performance is 3x - 4x faster
just saw it now thought i'd be quick enough to start the thread! haha. anyway i'm pretty hyped about this, downloading now!
I am trying to test it on different sites I frequently visit and when I tried to access my gmail account it resulted to a blank page. I reported it now thru 'Report Bugs to Apple.'
i dont like the coverflow thing in the history and bookmarks because it's not that useful.. the topsites are nice though..
Liking it so far. Was on Flock for a couple of months and I did enjoy the social networking and all, but the new eye candy and other features here on Safari 4 are enticing me to switch back.
so how can i delete websites that are on the Top Site? got a couple of *ehem* sites that i need to delete off from there, because a preview of the site is showing =) edit: whew found it already =)
hmmm.. topsites may just be the thing that'll make me delete Firefox for good. One thing I like about FF3 is how I can retrieve my previous sessions.... and... Command+Enter will automatically add www and .com, Safari right now doesn't do that... yet
i'm loving the top site now, specially that it's in cover flow view, more reasons for pc users to drool =)
just go to the top site view, and then click edit on the extreme bottom left side. then click x on the page you want to delete.
Hmm.. No refresh button? And you can't remove the "Add Bookmarks" button... Glims must also be uninstalled before installing this version. I also prefer that the loading progress be shown too and not just the spinning thing.
