Re: Update: Safari 3.2 now available! I tried to download, but download failed. Maybe overloaded servers? Will try again late U.S. time.
Re: Update: Safari 3.2 now available! Didn't work for me. My system came to a crawl after the reboot. Still didn't work after 2 further reboots. Have to restore from my Time Machine backup. Probably it's a software conflict or what. Really a hassle. Worst update that i had. It's good that Leopard has Time Machine.
Re: Update: Safari 3.2 now available! almost had same problem. updated this morning but had to do a hard re-start after.
aw, so i guess i have to restart my macbook after this update huh? since i switched to mac i haven't actually restarted or even tried to shutdown my unit. love the mac's efficiency, but if i must restart then i will... haha!
my safari had just been updated, but like the older version, it still crashes in my multiply site whenever i updated the contents in "my site", it says, the safari unexpectedly quits because of the flash content. bakit kaya ganun?
i have the same problem before the 3.2 update, what solve it is i download the latest flash player (link below) http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Hi guys! I am having problems in updating safari. It's taking too long. After running software update, I was asked to install Safari 3.2 update. I clicked Install, then password, reboot, and installation started. I left it for about 20 mins and no progress. Thinking it might need more time, I left it overnight. When I woke up this morning, same banana. Help please. Thanks.
Just force quit it and reinstall.. If it still gets stuck, download the new version again. Baka na-corrupt kasi ang installer.
@coolpix32: It might be better for you to forego using the Software Update function and just download the update directly from Apple's Downloads site and use that installer. Software Update usually has problems with large update files (especially when using erratic internet connections). It might also help to fix disk permissions first before doing any updates. HTH
