hi. just wanted to ask where can i download royalty free music? It's a video i'm planning to make for my daughter's birthday. Will be posting it on Facebook and Vimeo. I used to use songs purchased from iTunes but the last time I edited a video I couldn't upload to Facebook as well as Vimeo due to copyright.

Hope you guys can help out.

@carlabianca thank you. I actually used bensound before and your right he's got some awesome tunes. I've stumbled on musicbed and the songs are amazing. Problem is the price is quite steep. $49 for private use and price goes up if you'll be distributing your video.

But thank you for the suggestion. I'll check out incompetech.com

Try Audio Jungle http://audiojungle.net ... price can be as low as 1$, I think I was even able to download something for free one time.

    Have you tried YouTube?

I have a couple of videos uploaded, and no issues with YouTube, although I cannot monetize the videos and since the song isn't mine... Ads are expected.

Of all my videos uploaded, I only had issues when I used Tokyo by Owl City... Due to restrictions, the video cannot be played on a mobile device and in Russia.

just wondering... any website for Pinoy artists?

Browsed through the sites and most of them will still charge you for commercial use of the music...

I'm paying anyway, better just support OPM...

as long as you don't have permission from the copyright owner, NO... Facebook, being a US company, is covered by the DMCA, ( Digital Millennium Copyright Act) & if the copyright owner complains,, Facebook has to take down any infringing material. otherwise, it can be held liable as well for the violation
