Just to get a feel on what people are using nowadays. Can people chime in on what applications u are using. We all know that FCP X is doing its updates, Adobe has CS6, Smoke has lowered its price point, AVID has aggressive price points as well. And FCP is still chugging along. So lets see what people are using now.

    To Start of:

    Adobe CS5 - 75% (work related)
Final Cut Studio - 15% (work related)
    FCP X -1% (testing purposes)
Resolve - 9% (test and some work)

    Adobe CS5.5 or 6 - not yet....

FCP X for my once-a-month personal video projects.

For strictly private video, FCP XXX. ;)

FCP 7. Can't seem to get over the fact that FCPX feels too much like iMovie, which I still don't understand how to use.

Getting used to FCPX. It may look like iMovie but it's actually powerful. It can still be improved though. It maybe missing some features that were very much used in FCP7 but it also has new very useful features.

Ae is for motion graphics, impractical for video editing.
