Hi all (and Charlie, hehe), I know that Marshall Major replacement earpads are available in some Digital Walker branches (in fact I just bought a pair yesterday from the Greenhills branch), and I know that those are only available online through the Marshall Headphones website. So I was wondering if it was possible to order replacement headphone cables for the Marshall Monitor too through Digital Walker. My cable just got broken last week, and even a Greenhills shop repair didn't quite do the trick—it's still a bit faulty. And ordering directly from the website is expensive because shipping costs just as much as the cable itself, not to mention the potential customs headache. Can I order one through your stores, Charlie? Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks so much!
This is a nice thread. I also have a Marshall Monitor. Hope there'll be a replacement cable that can be bought locally.
@mikeyllorin thanks for the heads up on the MM replacement pads. can you post a pic of the replacement pads? and how did you replace yours? and lastly, how much? the right pad of my MM needs replacement so any pointers from you would be helpful.
Here are the pads on my wife's Majors. Good as new. Replacing them was easy. You just kind of pull/slide the old ones off and you slide the new ones in around the speakers, and then you just adjust it until it fits perfectly. (Sorry—that's the clearest way I can describe it now.) It only costs Php350 at Digital Walker. Much better compared to some sellers from OLX who sell it for Php499 + Php150 shipping.
Tagging @Charlie and @abetstone Sorry, would've tagged you guys in the original post but I didn't know how.
^dude, thanks for the pics and instructions, they are perfectly clear to me hahaha i went to DW Robinson's a few minutes ago, they said its by order. i should have drove all the way to Greenhills instead. oh well. thanks man!
how much was the replacement? the cable is universal right, you can also use it for your beats/other headphones with 3.5mm detachable cables?
for the life of me, i cant remember how much i paid hahaha. it was less than P500 because i remember getting change. i was in a hurry to catch a movie that i didn't even bother asking for a PhilMUG discount. @mikeyllorin, @pael so they are generic replacement cables. akala ko for Marshall lang. this is great because i have another headphone that needs new cables
They're Marshall-branded 3.5mm mic/remote audio cables designed for the Marshall Monitor. But yes they can be used with almost anything with a 3.5mm AUX port. https://www.marshallheadphones.com/mh_asia_en/accessories/ms-monitor-audio-cable Also, you probably paid Php350, because that's what I paid too!
Where could I buy the Marshall-branded 3.5mm mic/remote audio cables designed for the Marshall Monitor ? And how much again?
