can i have a playlist for quicktime...
say i want to watch 4 different avi files in sucession.
i dont want to have to close the app and open the next file.
i just want to sit back and watch it as if it was one long movie.

BTW, does vlc play divx or other files aside from dvd discs?

lastly is there a codec or patch i can download for quicktime to run RM files (realone media)
like that so i could play divx...i dont want to install realplayer in my mac.

Try using the free QT XList. I haven't used it myself but it should allow you to create playlists in Quicktime. VLC also has a playlist feature and will be able to play DivX files.

QuickTime Player does not have a playlist... you can use VLC instead, it has a playlist option for videos. VLC plays most media files, including the ones you mentioned.

You have no choice but install Real to play Real. Real sux.

    Wow, this is so cool.

Now I can watch all my favourite shows in one sitting (well almost one sitting ;) )
