try reinstalling quicktime. If that doesn't work, reinstall safari, then quicktime. Restart before each install.

You can install the quick time player 7 from your SL installation disk. When you insert your disk, you'll get the start up options. Choose Optional Installation. It shows apps that you may one to install. Quick Time Player v7 is one of them. I installed that since I use QT to view VCDs which QT X can't do, yet.

    Hope this helps.

Are you trying to stream trailers from Apple's QuickTime Trailers site? I noticed that after installing Snow Leopard, QuickTime seems to be more sensitive to a slow Internet connection. I would keep getting the 'Q' with a question mark when I try to stream the 'large' trailers during the day (my BayanDSL has been slow during this time recently). When I tried with the 'small', it worked. It looks like QT X is timing out faster.

Hey guys I'm experiencing problems with my QuickTime plugin in Safari.. I can't play videos from the apple site. I've tried trailers and ads. Sometimes there's audio, but no video, and sometimes, none at all. These videos played in Chrome. I've tried reinstalling Safari and QuickTime.. Nothings happening.
