I'm having problems with my quicktime (pro) playback. I have been recording several shows with my mac mini and even downloading trailers from the quicktime web page. The problem is when i start playing them back over quicktime, playback is not smooth, with the picture pausing and skipping. Is it a memory problem (i have 1.25 gig ram) or a processor problem (i have a 1.42 ghz on my g4 mac mini and 1.5 ghz on my powerbook g4)? The recordings play well over VLC but then what use is quicktime? Help!
