i got almost the same charger (black/blue pad) which was on sale for $25. use a freight forwarder instead of the direct shipping option, 3250 is too expensive and you might as well buy locally (i think Samsung stores sell the convertible model for around 4000+)

    Are Momax chargers reliable?

I'm looking at the Q.Pad X and the Q.Dock 2, but slightly leaning more towards the Q.Dock because of the IPX's face recognition. It's ok naman to put the phone on the pad/stand even if it's not connecter to power no? Magnets/coils won't do anything freaky?

I think they are reliable since they are certified qi chargers

Well they said "sometime in 2018" so I guess they mean anytime now...apparently Apple is releasing the AirPower Wireless Charging Mat "sometime in March" so I guess that'll be the date...and it's "likely to be $200 on the minimum"

C'mon Apple, say something beyond those quotes will ya'...

I am still hoping beyond hope that they'd find a way to support Apple Watch Series 2; or some other elegant way of charging it alongside my other wireless devices.

Anyone here uses the Quick Charge 3.0 charger adapter to power their wireless chargers? I use it on mine but I think it doesn't have any effect on our iOS devices. When I charge a Samsung S8 in it, it fast charges it

^it will have no effect on the iphone X/8 since it is maxed at 5 watts using the recommended 2amp chargers. Some wireless pads from belkin and moshie can unlock the 7.5 watts "fast charge" by apple but aside from the high price tag, the charging time difference is not that significant especially if you just charge and leave them on a wireless pad before going to sleep like i do, or just have one on the office table and just drop them there every time

    Hi all,

Has anyone considered the 350 pesos wireless chargers that Kimstore sells? I was thinking of picking one up but I'm also on the fence if I should invest in Wireless Charging, or Fast Charging.

    TIA!

Was out of town for a conference and I forgot to bring my phone charger. Bought a wireless charger at BTB in Resorts World.

It's a Baseus donut wireless charger that costs less than 1k. Not bad.

i just backed an indiegogo wireless charger that looks like the AirPower that can also charge the AirPods and Apple Watch along with the phone. What i like about it is that it's so much cheaper compared to the AirPower and it's compatible with Apple watch series 0 and the original case of the AirPods, and it also has a stand. Their target date is to ship it by April 2018, hopefully they'll be able to deliver the product in time.

you have to connect an accessory to the AirPod case that they will provide and as for the apple watch support you have to integrate your own apple watch charger to the stand.

A PSA from Best Buy on what are the best wireless pads for compatible iPhones...

BB: Get the Mophie Wireless sir. It’s the best around. And cheap ($69/pc).
Me: Oh really? I’ll get two. What about the other Qi chargers?
BB: My advice. Get The Mophie Wireless sir. It’s the best around. And cheap.
Me: Ok fine. Don’t have to repeat it. Better yet, give me 3.

I see that Mophie has a Charge Stream Pad+ that can deliver 10W of power. How much power is needed for fast charging of iPhone X? If the iPhone X just needs 7.5W, then I may consider the slightly cheaper Mophie Wireless Charging Base.
