I tried searching previous threads but came up empty so here goes...

I updated some entries in the Address Book on my Powerbook then hit the Sync button so I could do the same with the contact list on my .mac account. However, when I checked my .mac address book after the sync, some of the contacts that I updated on my Powerbook still had the old email addies.

I clicked on 'Reset' to erase all the contact info on my .mac account and updated it with those from my desktop. But when I checked, the old info was still there.

Am I missing a step or something? Or is this some bug with iSync?

    Thanks in advance.

What version of Mac OS X are you using? Panther or Tiger? If you're using Tiger you should sync thru the System Preferences (System Preferences > .Mac > Sync tab > Select Contacts > Click Sync Now) rather than synchronizing thru iSync. Hope this helps.

    thanks, hubes.

finally got it working! weird, because that's actually how i synced the first time around (there's a 'warning' in isync that says syncs to .mac should be done through system prefs so i did just that).

but thanks again for the reminder! gotta love philmug!
