I haven't been able to forward images or videos from my Gmail for a few months now. Each time I forward an email with image content recipients complain of receiving blank pages. First I thought there was a problem with Gmail until this afternoon. I opened my account at work (we use Windows), forwarded an email to coworkers, and they received it no problem. Is there something in the setting of my PB that need to be changed? Thanks...
If you're using the Apple Mail app to forward messages, go to the edit/attachments/send windows friendly attachments menu and see what happens. On the mac, I think the images are converted automatically to .tiff by default that's why your windows using friends don't see the images.
Thing is I don't use Apple Mail to forward email. Maybe I should. Problem is I try to forward email to my other email accounts, just to check. If I use my PB I get blank pages on my other accounts as well, but no so when I use Windows at work. Checked the settings on my Gmail account but everything seems to be fine. This is baffling...
Are you using Safari? Try another browser, I've had problems with large attachments on gMail with Safari in the past.

You should try out Camino or Firefox first if you can send gMails normally from those browsers. And, yes, I would personally recommend Camino over Safari since the Apple browser has a lot of incompatibilities with some Ajax enabled sites like Yahoo Mail Beta, AIM Mail, etc... I only use Safari now when I'm on battery power.
Mail problem For the past couple of days my Mail couldn't retrieve email from my Gmail account. I have absolutely no idea why since I haven't been changing any of the settings. And although it still retrieves email from my Yahoo account, all messages are garbled and unreadable. I have already tried cleaning my system with Applejack, and Disk Utility (as suggested by the Help section of Mail) but still nada. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Mail problem Try configure your gmail account in a test user.( another user account on the computer). on you gmail change the pop setting to enable pop for all mail. then try to send message to yourself, using your own gmail account or try to send from your yahoo account. If you're able to send and receive in this test account, probably you have a corrupted preference in you home account. Next thing to do, is log back in to your home account,take note of all your configuration in your yahoo and gmail account in mail. Next, drag HD/users/username/library/mail to desktop (to backup all your mails) then trash HD/users/username/library/preferences/com.apple.mail.plist. Then, launch mail, reconfigure your mail account. You should be able to send and receive mail now. note: when dragging Mail folder or deleting the com.apple.mail.plist, make sure that Mail is not running. If you have the same issue with your mail in the test account, the next thing that i would suggest is to reinstall the Mail application using the install disk. Try the above step first.
