    hi guys!

I've been using my macbook alum for about 4 months now and i seldom use the Dvd-rom

But when i tried to watch "24" on my macbook it wont read the dvd... i tried it with my brothers mac (1 macbook white, 1 pbook) and it was able to read the dvd...

i tried to watch the other dvd titles and i was able to read them...

Is there something wrong with the Dvd-rom of my mac?

Is the DVD pirated or scratched? I notice that some brands of DVD drives are more sensitive than others.

try using other dvds with files in them, if your dvdrom still doesnt read it bring your mac to istudio or digital walker for check up, replacement for the dvd rom is free if your mac is still under warranty, theyd hafto take out your dvd rom tho...so no optical drive for you till it gets replaced:)
