    hi to all,
i am a newbie to MAC. school is just around the corner and we are again tasked to take care of our kids in their needs for school. my kids need to have an ID picture (1x1) and i just print it thru my former PC. i would like to ask the community here if i can do it in iphoto lang. would you recommend any software or iphoto will do..ty

EDIT: I have renamed the subject from 'Best Software?' because it was vague and misleading. Thanks. - elbertc

Sure you can use iPhoto. Make sure that you're in Library view. Then, double click the ID picture of your kids. Then click File > Print.

Then, select Style, then choose Contact Sheet.

    Then just print away.

    Hope that helps.

The thing is, iPhoto can't seem to print custom photo sizes. In this case rdelrio wants to print 1x1 photos. This is what I do:

    1. Crop the picture as a square from within iPhoto.
    2. Drag & drop the photo from iPhoto's library (or from the top bar when in Edit view) to my GraphicConverter icon on the Dock, this will automatically start GraphicConverter and open the particular photo.
    3. Select GraphicConverter -> Picture -> Size -> Scale... (or just hit ctrl-cmd-Y) and scale it to 1 inch by 1 inch.
    4. Print using GraphicConverter.

Another way is to use Pages. Just drag & drop cropped images from iPhoto and resize them from within Pages. Pages makes it easier when you want to print multiple images on 1 sheet of paper.

This seems a bit tedious. Can anyone suggest a faster way? I wish they would add the ability to print custom picture sizes in iPhoto.
