I hope someone can help me with this...

My Preview app is not opening. What's happening is it just appears on the dock and will be gone in a blink. I tried restarting several times but it still acts that way. Same also happens with Quicksilver. I tried Googling this and couldn't find the solution elsewhere.

Is there anything that I can do without re-installing Tiger?

Was there something you installed before this happened?

What you could do is create another account and test if this error will occur.

None that I know of except for a couple of Dashboard widgets. I also tried switching to my Admin account and it does the same way (both Preview and Quicksilver).

I just realized how important Quicksilver is for me as I feel so helpless without it.

    Did all that...didn't work :(

Now even Mail.app won't launch! I'm thinking of just re-installing the OS on this thing... I won't lose any files, right?

I think you'd lose files, back them up first to be sure... :)
