I've always loved the minimalistic, simple look. A subscriber to the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) philosophy. So it was inevitable I would get myself a Mac, and with the right discipline and attitude create myself the ideal workspace in my home office.

I still plan to get a desk lamp, and contemplating whether to put artwork on the wall.

    Let's see yours!

@ Whipper25: What a beautiful and clean workspace. I wish I could have the same furniture! Haha! Alas, mine is nothing close to that. But I do keep it uncluttered, too. Here it is. :)

(Pardon the quality. It was taken with a phone cam.)

awww... i envy you, guys! i cannot possibly keep my workplace compliant with KISS!!! ..with all the clutter consisting of case folders, notices/orders, books opened and evidence! it would take a miracle! or maybe if that ever happens, that would mean i've left my law career!

Here's mine, before my geek fixed everything up. Now it's different but I still need an area rug so I won't post photos yet.

maryanne, those are LOADS of books!

I'm trying to decide on a static location of my workspace but I've been moving around for the last three years that I've changed apartments, and rooms. Hay...I'll post my current workspace when I get home as I can't view any photos here in the office.

@whipper25, now that I can see the photos I like the table you're using. Perfect match with the aluminum MBP.

    Here's mine.

if it weren't for the girly bags, I would have thought a boy owned the desk space. it's pinhead, i think. :)

There's a site i like to look at to get me inspired when it comes to uncluttered workspaces.

This is a good article. It takes a little sacrifice and discipline to follow what it says, but it will ultimately help you in the long run.

^@ whipper25: i've been reading the unclutterer website and been trying to put those rules to heart for the longest time. effective naman, but still not as minimalist and as uncluttered as i'd want my workspace to be. someday...

    LOL!

    @ just bry
It's all gonna change in due time ;)

slowly converting our office to a more Mac friendly environment. :D

I remember this saying that my mom has: "A cluttered desk is the sign of a cluttered mind... so what does an empty desk mean?"
