HBO Go is available in the Philippine App Store but you would need a local cable subscription.

HBO Now is available via the US iTunes App Store, and with VPN, you can subscribe via iTunes at $14.99 a month.

Try downloading and subscribing to HBO Go app via VPN connected to Singapore. I just don't know if HBO is already blocking VPN ip similar to Netflix or it will accept payments from Philippines.

AFAIK, Sky Cable bought the exclusive rights to HBO Go in the PH. Which means that you can only use HBO Go in the PH if you are a Sky Cable subscriber.

So before you guys purchase apps and/or subscriptions, review your particular usage restrictions—location, subscription exclusivities, payment options, etc. Also, some countries have HBO Go, HBO Now, or both. Know your options.

I am meeting with the SVP of HBO Asia next Wednesday. But don't expect me to pull strings for you unless you're hot and easy. :D

Just to add to my instructions on the Netflix thread...

For IOS devices, download the HBO GO app from the PH iTunes Store.
For OSX devices, watch from the website, hboasia.ph.
In either case, you’ll need to create an a HBO Account.
For HD cable box, that’s channel 168.

For those who couldn’t care less about GOT, my sincere admiration for your fortitude and restraint. Hope you found good use for the hundreds of hours you’d otherwise have spent on this show.

Workaholic boyfriend never watched a single episode.

So this week we started watching GoT at a pace of two episodes a night with the expectation that we will be done with everything by the series finale on May 19.

It was awesome to see Season 1 in 4K Blu-ray. Really wish HBO released all 7 seasons at that resolution to maximize the OLED.

HBO seems to have a smaller menu of content but it’s better curated than Netflix, which has a lot of content but a lot of it isn’t very good

Does one have to use VPN for HBO Now? Won’t DNS spoofing work (Getflix and similar services)

Mm...Getflix works 100% with HBO Now, Netflix US, Hulu, Sling TV, Amazon Prime US, DC Universe. Only streaming app that it doesn’t play along with is Youtube TV.

    Getflix has never failed me.

Thanks for the tip to use HBO Now... really surprised the partner as he thought I was playing random vids off YouTube... (at the start) then he realised it's the new ep when the opening theme started. =)) Happy to pay for this service...
