hello fellow muggers, kindly help me, i did a recent software upgrade with my iTunes application. I clicked the right prompts like i did with my upgrades before but to my surprised, my iTunes App is gone! I was hoping it was just gone from my dock but it's not even in my applications folder. Pls, how do i restore my iTunes app? thank you so much and God bless everybody!
Have you tried looking for it in spotlight? Search for iTunes in Spotlight, Cmd-click on it, then you will be shown the window where your iTunes is located. Just drag it to your dock afterwards.
maybe it wanted to remove the old version first before putting in a new one and somehow forgot to install?
I suggest you go back to Apple/iTunes and reinstall. In the meantime, check your Home/Music folder and see if the iTunes Library is still there.
sometimes it happens with other apps upgrades... the dock icon just doesnt connect with the new upgraded app... it still activates the old app, which in this case, was already deleted by the update.
it couldnt have gone anywhere. can it? hmmm. try searching for it first. but if its really gone. then we have a problem. if only time machine's here...
Go to apple.com/downloads and download itunes again. if your itunes library is intacked after reinstallation everything should be back. check ~/music/itunes if it is still in your home folder.
whew! im relieved...ok na po! maraming salamat po sa advice. my husband downloaded the latest itunes app pala without upgrading the OS. ngayon po, ok na. after downloading the latest OS upgrade, automatic pong lumabas ang latest iTunes app. thank God! and thank u po sa inyong lahat.
