I hope its ok if I make a new thread about it since it seems like a different problem from the existing ones.

Yesterday I noticed that PLDT MyDSL has become really slow on video streaming sites like youtube. It used to be a lot faster. General web browsing is not a problem only in video streams. Has anyone notice this?

I can't help but think that PLDT Watchpad has something to do with this sudden loss of speed.

i hardly youtube, but my slingbox, which entails live video streaming from my cable tv set-top box in the u.s. has been jittery at best. overall, my pldt dsl service has been slow this past week.

pldt probably is experiencing a temporary bandwidth crunch, unless they're squeezing video streams in favor of watchpad, which i have yet to try in spite receiving their dvd mailer.

you need to login on their site first so yoonic player will autolaunch with the correct credentials to play.

I noticed slow streaming too but not that much since we're on NGN. just enough to make the once continuous stream stop and buffer for a fraction of a second on TMZ.com and Collegehumor. On yuotube, I always have to let it load 1/6 of the way for continuous streaming after.

I'm having the same problem as mmarc. I have also logged onto the site first and launched yoonic player and the results are the same it just says send request to server. Is there a solution for this? Thanks!
