    Flip for a small profit so the extra controller, headseat and media remote would come in as free :D

    I just got this from another international group.

    He tried installing one of the best aftermarket SSD's on PS5. I think the code in PS5 restricts its features of the expanded storage for now.

    I think you're gonna have to preorder if you want to get a unit on launch day/week. Local retailers will get bashed if they don't open preorders, force local gamers to line up, and risk getting COVID like the shoe store in Visayas shown in the news recently. Priority would and should be for those who preordered.

    I hope local retailers/Sony PH has a good plan for preorders. From experience, Samsung PH does a good job with preorders for their flagship phones. I hope Sony PH doesn't fail.

    If I was Sony PH I'd only allow the PS5 to be sold via delivery like Sony US. Bad move to allow people to lineup at stores in person. Especially rich kids of rich parents.

    Those thinking of importing a PS5 from the US may want to think again. Due to its size and weight the shipping cost will start at $90

    At $590 it will be more expensive than ₱27,990 from Sony PH.

    Better to buy through Sony PH dealers.

    Those finding $400 & $500 expensive should look at how much past PS were introduced.

    PlayStation pricing on the year of introduction.
    • 2006 - PS3 20GB was $500 and the PS3 60GB was $600.
    • 2013 - PS4 sold for $400
    • 2016 - PS4 Pro sold for $400
    • 2020 - PS5 Digital is $400 and PS5 is $500
    The PS5 is cheap due to inflation. The buying power of $500 in 2006 higher than $500 today.

    To make my post Apple-related when Apple decides to offer an Apple TV Pro Max it cost no more than $500.

    It's been reported that PS5 exclusive Spiderman Remastered could brick PS5 consoles when put into rest mode. For now they suggest either close Spider-Man Remastered first before you put the PS5 into rest mode or even boot up a different game first, close it, then put the console into rest mode or shut down just to be safe.

    I’ll get my personal unit on Wednesday, Nov 18.
    Got couple units from EB Games and I immediately flipped it for profit.
    Makes my “third” PS5 unit essentially free :D
