Heya guys! I've been away for around 2 weeks (for vacation), and I just bought a band hero set for the ps3. But my problem is that my ps3 lens is broken, does anyone know a good place to repair the lens? Cheers. :p

there's alot in gh. it ranges from 4500 - 6000 depending on your negotiationg skills (already includes labor and the lens) :D but i heard someone brought it to a sony repair center. not sure how much that would cost though. PS3s here are void of warranty anyway(except store warranty)

try sony phils. first. if tha doesn't work out, VMall is the best place to go.

People in pinoyps swear by a repair shop in SM San Lazaro i think it's called cynet). And apparently the technician does home service. apologies, but can't remember the details :(

Yes. And the owner of iTech is also the owner of Mr Dynamic @ V-mall.
Btw, they do sell ps3 games at cheaper prices @ iTech/Mrdyanmic. You guys can check em out. Cheers.

It won't read blu-ray discs. I think its a known problem for 80gb and earlier versions of the ps3. Cheers.

How much for the lens repair in iTech? And how long did it take to finish? I also need to get my PS3 fixed.

Got mine repaired at iTech, like Mocha.Frap's. The technician was really kind and he even let us try a few games to make sure the new lenses worked. We paid P3,500 'cause our PS3 uses dual lenses; if you have the single lens you'll have to pay P5,000.

    Thanks!
