I was doing some number-crunching last night to find out that the pivotchart function doesn't seem to be supported by Excel for MAC. There is just no trace of it anywhere near the pivottable function. Is this really the case or am I just hallucinating? Also, after using the pivot table function then saving the .xls file(with the pivot table), I find that I can no longer open the file afterwards. The error message reads "...could not open file" Read this.. the program that created the file cannot open/read it. Bummer! Help on this please coz I don't want to use my pc again.
I just tried it today.The pivot table works and I was able to save it. You probably might have to reinstall Excel or Office.
