hi when i opened my photobooth this morning, it said "there is no connected camera", when it was working well last night! (recorded movies pa of my kid)

is it dead forever or did i do something to "switch" it off?

thanks in advance for the assistance!

This also happened to me once. What I did is run Repair Permissions using Disk Utility. It fixed the problem. ;)

Try shutting down and restarting your Mac first and see if that solves the problem before repairing permission.

i actually did that and it didn't work. so i did the permissions thing once, tried photobooth, didn't work, permissions again, shutdown and restart.

that did the trick. but what are permissions?
