barring the difference in cost, are there any other features that make one your choice over the other?

from what i see BPE is more of a message and call center while phone agent is a phone controller allowing more control of features like themes while having less communications features.

can anyone (preferably current users of one or the other or both) enlighten me?

    TIA!

I have been using BPE since I bought my PB last April, BPE is quite simple to use and setup. With BPE, you can receive/send text via pop-up console, Archives your messages on your hard drive, displays incoming calls, make outgoing calls via BPE.

Though you can never use it for changing or editing themes unlike phone agent.

Oh, how much I miss my Float Mobile agent in my PC... (sigh)

    So true... ;)

Has anybody found an alternative to BPE? Can't use it anymore since they started charging for the software. I'm planning to purchase it but I might get a new phone soon and I'm not sure if it's going to be a SE phone.
