Perian 1.1

    just updated to perian 1.1 on the mac mini htpc...

    now dts tracks play on front row to our home theater via spdif... only problem is it comes out as dolby prologic... dd5.1 passthrough has lost the popping sound when it turns on...

    the continuing lack of dts passthrough is annoying but, at least, i now have the option to watch without having to shift to vlc everytime a dts encoded media file is played... on those times i really want to get proper dts passthrough, i switch back to vlc... other than those times, the mini now spends most of it's running time in front row...

    just came across this solution! now quicktime and front row plays all my videos with audio!
