Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any working plugin for firefox running on intel macs. As a workaround, you can run firefox in rosetta, but the performance penalty is really bad. I had to make do with opening it via an external app such as preview or adobe reader.

Hmm, I just checked, you're right about foxit.

I just installed PDF download when I updated Firefox and it started working right away. Maybe it's because I have Adobe reader?

Yes it still needs another program to make it work under firefox. However, one problem I dont like with adobe reader is its not that fast to load.
miss the fast pdf plugin capability

Hi, i'm not sure if this is the right thread for my query but I'm really desperate.

I've been trying to open quite a number of pdf files since yesterday but have failed until now. What keeps appearing is a dialog box saying - screen capture api is not installed. What do I have to do? I have to review the documents and make a report by tomorrow morning. So I'm starting to get a wee bit frantic.

I have Adobe Reader 9 and have also installed the FileOpen plugin.

Thanks very much for your help.
