Pando is an interesting file-sharing tool for those who need to transmit large (up to 1 Gig) files often. Here's a blurb from their site: I know there are web-based services like Dropload and YouSendIt, but the Pando application just makes the entire process so seamless and easy. A big plus is that it works with GMail, Hotmail and Yahoo Mail web clients. The caveat is that the receiver also needs to have Pando to download whatever you send. I've looked at the underlying technology and the .pando files it creates seem very similar to torrent tracker files.
