Were you able to sync your Palm (Treo) Calendar with the Entourage Calendar? If you did, can you give us how you did it?

me too... no problem here. hey katsch, are you referring to problems in installing palm desktop or syncronizing your palm with isync? in tiger, you can go to enable palm OS syncing and it will guide you easily.

i was having an error of "unexpected end of fle" and did uninstall and reinstalled Palm Desktop 4.2.1 last night... i tried opening it and it worked... but after doing a sync... found out that it's not updating the Palm Desktop.. only those Mac applications (i.e iCal) are being updated... is this the norm?? any ways that i can also update the Palm Desktop??

after having said "no problem," i should add, in view of the comment above by dbh1104, that my palm desktop isn't being updated, either. i just noticed it when i checked it, because i've been using ical exclusively for ages now. so maybe i'm missing a step somewhere--but ical is a worthy replacement for palm desktop,in any case.

Version 4.2.1 works without a hitch for me with two Palm devices, a T|3 and the Treo 650. :D

thanks for all the me(n) replies gentlemen!

it made me dare to download and install it on a 1gig albook and lo and behold! it did get installed. i just happened not to have the hotsync cable for the treo 270 so could not report back to you if everything is A-ok.

i had to seek help as i could not do it on the 1.2gig iBook of the missus earlier. but the moment i get hold of it, i will dare do it again so her even more ancient treo 180 which senco has bundled with their Tiger OS installer offering cana talk to her iBook.

sorry for not having checked the thread back sooner.

    salamat po ulit!

the iBook has now got it

without any possible rhyme or reason, the missus' iBook just got it installed having downloaded the thing from the apple website through a blast prepaid card.

now whether everything checks out right with the treo 180...

Just got a Palm TX, but the CD that came with it doesn't have Palm Desktop for Mac. Whenever I pop the CD in, finder reveals nothing. Palm website doesn't have a download for the TX (it says use the CD that came with the product!). Questions:

    1. Where can I get my palm desktop? Can I just borrow from someone else (who owns a LD)?
    2. How about the other softwares that supposedly came with my CD, where can I get those?

btw, my TX came from hongkong.

Try downloading it from the palm website. I did it yesterday with a treo 650 (the blue edition doesn't come with palm desktop for mac). And was able to download the software and the support page.
