How can I share Pages documents over the internet? I cannot attach them in GMail nor can I send them through YM. Why is it like that? And is it the same with Keynote and Numbers?

By the way, I am using iWork 08.

maybe your file is too big, try to compress the file and send it again.
usually gmail doesn't care about what file you want to attach so there shouldn't be any problem.

If your recipient does not need to edit your file, better print it to pdf. For good measure, compress your file.

I tried sending a blank Pages file actually. I think around 30kb.

On YM, it said "Folders, symbolic links, and bundles (including applications) cannot be transferred."

On gmail, there are certain files that cannot be selected for attachment. There was even a .RTFD file that was not selectable. The .RTFD file is opened by TextEdit. It's just a .RTF actually. I don't know what the extra D means.

Has anyone actually been able to do this already (attaching Pages documents to email)?

I send them as zip files.

    I hope that helps.
