Hi guys, i'm new at this forum and my mac. just wonderin if any of you guys know of a p2p tv mac software. it seems that developers are only interested in making these softwares for windows. i'm a switcher and i had a TVU player from windows that works fine with broadband connection. i usually use it to watch live nba games which is not broadcasted in our local channels. i'm feeling depressed because of the scarce of softwares that are being developed for mac. if somebody could help me with this, then please help.
hi berniej, i already tried democracy placyer, but i think it doesn't support live streaming like p2p tv. its like a youtube software for mac. i was hoping for softwares like TVU player or sopcast, and the likes on a mac. mostly i watch it for live sports.
then your only option is to use Parallels to run the Windows-only p2p tv. If you're on a tight budget (I think Parallels costs around $80), you can use Boot Camp to dual-boot your Mac with XP -- that's if you're using an Intel-based Mac.
yeah, i was planning to use it as a last resort. would it be safe to say that there is no p2p tv software for mac?
Found this link while trying to find links to watch the Hatton - Mayweather fight: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1073893&tstart=120. Can anybody explain how is it done? I don't know what a "bottle" is. Thanks.
