When I first installed Yosemite on my 2012 Mac mini, performance was a bit sluggish. But after a couple of days, performance went back to normal. I think OS 10.10 picked up a trick from iOS 7 where it learned your usage patterns, application load/energy usage, etc. and optimized itself.
Have you tried signing out then signing in again on the app store? I also experienced this one and signing out & in again did the trick on me. [emoji4]
Pls sell me a thumb drive with Yosemite installer, ang bagal ng net ko dito sa iloilo, thanks in advance...

System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Options > Automatic Login (choose the account name you want to log in automatically, enter the password, press OK).
Thanks cybersniper for sharing it. Finally it is working now. Seems that on my case, the java popup (to ask if you would like to run java in the browser) will not show until I right-click on the area where the chart supposedly displaying.
For those who have older Macs and want the Continuity Features of OS X Yosemite, there is now a tool to activate it, Continuity Activation Tool. Mid-2011 Macs do not need new bluetooth hardware since they already have 4.0 but older than 2011 need the new generation of bluetooth hardware. http://www.macrumors.com/2014/10/23/continuity-activation-tool/
After numerous logins/logouts, I was able to update my Pages, Numbers and iPhoto. However when I opened iPhoto, it said that it is a version not compatible with Yosemite. WTF. The Mac App Store is starting to get in my nerves.
I am doing a clean install now in an early 2010 MbA with just 60GB HDD. Its downloading and says 6 hours to finish? Question is it really this long to dl?
Depends on your net. Mine finished downloading after approx 6 hours din. It's approx 5.16GB kaya matagal talaga.
Thanks suigeneris. I thought all the components inside the thumb drive installer na. May components pa pala downloaded from the internet.
^ that's weird. if you're using a thumb drive to do a clean install, all required files should be in that thumb drive, right? are you sure you booted your system from the thumb drive? i also did a clean install via thumb drive and no additional files were downloaded anymore during the installation.
