Excited to read everyone's feedbacks. Wonder how effective split view is for Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

How do I upgrade to the final build if I'm currently on El Capitan GM? Do I have to download it again from the app store or do I just wait for the system notification that an update is available?

Can anyone confirm the build number of the official release? I'd just like to compare it with the GM build which is 15A282b. Thanks!

It's my first major OS X upgrade and this is how it pretty much went:

1:00am - checked the App Store but nothing appeared on the Updates tab. kept checking until...
2:30am - started downloading after I manually searched for El Capitan in the App Store then went to bed
6:16am - downloaded DiskMaker X and began making a USB installer for backup purposes
8:10am - started installing the update
    8:47am - installation complete. now on OS X 10.11

Just like upgrading to a new version of iOS, my experience was smooth and no problems whatsoever. As usual, we'd all be limited to how fast our internet connections are for the initial 6gb download. I hope everyone else has a smooth ride to El Capitan
